Why is a regular rope inspection important?
Rope inspection is prescribed in regular cycles by the authorities of the countries to ensure safe operation. There are two basic different methods for inspecting:
- Destruktive rope inspection
- Non-destructive rope inspection
While destructive inspection is often used for material testing such as fracture load tests and tensile theshold test, we deal exclusively with non-destructive rope inspection, with focus on visual inspection.
